President of the Boardman English Association:
Roy Boardman MBE
Roy is the President of the Boardman English Association and Director of the association’s onscreen school, British English Worldwide.
Roy has an international reputation as a teacher of English, the organiser and director of distance learning and teacher-training projects, the author of a number of books for and about teaching English published by Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press, and a former Regional Director of the British Council.
He has won many awards for his work in English language teaching and teacher training and honoured with the title of Member of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth for his contributions to international cultural relations.

Director of Studies:
John Douche
John is a qualified ESL teacher with over 12 years of experience. He has a strong belief in the effectiveness of NLP and strives to develop innovative teaching methods. John highlights the importance of teacher-student rapport, especially in online learning environments.
Since moving to Naples in 2016, John has prepared students for various Cambridge and Trinity exams. He has experience teaching a wide range of ages and proficiency levels. John’s own experience learning Italian allows him to understand the challenges faced by language learners.
John’s unique combination of teaching skills and technological expertise makes him well-suited for online teaching roles. He currently holds the position of Director of Studies at British English Worldwide.
